35 Weeks

I am now 37 weeks and 2 days along on this journey. I am starting to get impatient because I can't wait to meet my little baby boy. Last week when I went to the doctor I was 1 cm dilated but he really hadn't dropped much at all. This past Sunday my family had my 3rd and last baby shower and that was a lot of fun. There was such good food and being able to enjoy spending time with all my aunts and family was wonderful. I received so many cute things for Baby Eli he will def be well dressed. I was supposed to have a another checkup this morning but the doctors office was closed due to bad weather. So I will have to reschedule and hope that Eli is still making progress. I have posted a few belly pictures and some pictures from the shower. I hope you enjoy and I will keep you posted on the progress.

Hi Everyone,

I thought it was about time to update my blog since it's getting closer and closer till Baby Eli arrives. I created a blog last year but thought it was kind of silly to just blog about Sam and I so I haven't updated it in along time. However, we now are expecting our first child and we are so excited and very blessed! We have picked out his first name which will be Elijah and we are going to call him Eli! It took awhile for us to finally compromise on a name but we finally did. His due date is Feb 2nd but for some reason I think he will be a end of Jan. baby but you never know. My belly is getting bigger and bigger each day and I think to myself can it get any bigger but somehow it manages too. My pregnancy overall has been pretty good the first trimester was the worst because of the morning, noon and night sickness but my second and third trimester have been great. We are getting so excited for his arrival and I have posted a few pics just to give you a little snap shot into Baby Eli's World and a few belly shots.

Sam and I met through a mutual friend and it has been history since. We have been together for 6 years and have been married for 1 year and 3 months. Sam proposed at Grand Father Mountain in NC. The proposal was quite the best suprise of of my life and one of the best days of my life. He took me on a hiking trail and at the very end he got down on one knee and covered my eyes and "asked will you marry me"?
